Hiking Trail Description

Adjacent To Woody Cape Nature Reserve, 55 km from Bluewater Bay, Port Elizabeth A splendid view of Algoa Bay. Two trails that can be negotiated by trail or horse. The bush trail is about 2 km and is a moderately easy walk. The dune trail is about 12 km and meanders through grasslands, sand dunes, and bush and along a beach. This trail is more strenuous with various challenging detours on offer for the more ambitious rider.

Direction: Take the N2 and R72 from Port Elizabeth to Alexandria. Turn of 5 km from the Nanaga interchange, at the Springmount Trails signboard, and drive along the Congoskraal Road for 9,5 km until you see the Springmount sign.

Amenities: Campers can stay at the Bush or Dune Camps. Outside toilets and water provided. Bed and breakfast accommodation also available. Meals on request.
