Hiking Trail Description
Located in Lorie Dam Nature Reserve. Mountain scenery. Dominant vegetation types Succulent Thicket and Fynbos, with yellowwoods, sugarbush and ericas. Large variety of birds. The Wild Goose Trail leads through deep, forested valleys offering an opportunity to discover a variety of plants, birds and mammals
Direction:
Drive from Port Elizabeth westward along the N2. After about 40 km take the Gamtoos / Hankey off-ramp. Drive past the church at Loerie, cross the river and then immediately turn right. After about 3 km look for signs.

Inkwali Trail: 1,5 km
Amenities:
Field Study Centre sleeps 40 for environmental education outings. Robinson hut sleeps 12 overnight.
